The elegant family wellness hotel, called Hotel Aranybánya opened its doors in 2012 as new unit of the Aranybánya Holiday Park. The gorgeous hotel with 11 beautiful rooms is situated in the centre of Telkibánya, a lovely village between the Zemplén mountains.
Throughout the design, construction and furnishing of the wellness hotel, we have strived to create high-quality, elegant, yet friendly and comfortable rooms and apartments for our guests, where it is good to return and relax after a variety of sightseeing tours in Abaúj-Zemplén. In addition to comfort and functionality, our main guiding principle was natural elegance, an eye-catching example of which was the silk wallpaper used to decorate the walls of common areas, superior rooms, apartments and suites.
The varied layout of the rooms of the Hotel Aranybánya wants to meet the different needs of our guests: among our room types we also offer two-space apartments and a stunning suite ideal for families.
The cosy attic rooms of the Aranybánya Hotel with 2 beds (90 cm x 200 cm) and an extra bed have a custom-designed bathroom with a bath or a shower. The well-equipped, comfortable rooms can accommodate 1 or 2 extra beds.
Our superior rooms – decorated with beautiful silk wallpaper – have been designed for our guests with a comfortable stay in mind. Upstairs rooms with 2 extra beds and an elegant bathroom with bath or shower. The maximum capacity of the rooms is 2 + 1 people on an extra bed, while the superior room with a balcony can accommodate 2 + 2 people. The normal bed size is 90cm x 200 cm.
The apartment has two rooms with separate entrances opening from the anteroom, one with 2 beds (80 cm x 200 cm) and the other with 3 pull-out extra beds. Our superior family apartment offers an ideal location for families, the functional design of which takes into account the needs of those arriving with children.
The 2 + 3-bed apartment with a balcony has two rooms with separate entrances opening from the anteroom. There is a comfortable bathroom with a corner bath, and a kitchenette with a built-in fridge. Ideal for families staying longer. The size of normal beds are 90 cm x 200 cm.
Feel true royal comfort in our 62-square-foot living room plus two-bedroom suite. The suite with a kitchen, a dining area and a spacious living room can accommodate 4 people (2 + 2) in two rooms, on normal beds (size: 90 cm x 200 cm). It can be booked in a living room + 1 bedroom layout for 2 people. There is an elegant bathroom with a corner bath. The special feature of this suite is the 43 sqm terrace with a panoramic view of the boating lake, from which you can admire the wonderful panorama of the mountains.
On the day of arrival the rooms can be booked from 15.00, on the day of departure please leave the room by 10.00. We try to meet other individual needs depending on occupancy, please let us know in advance.
Reservations can be made by phone or by e-mail. Requests for reservations initiated in writing will be finalized with a written confirmation. The reservation can be canceled free of charge until 10 days before the day of arrival. If cancelled within this period or in case of no-show, the 50% of the booking value be charged.
For reservations of 5 or more nights or 10 or more persons, please confirm in advance. Payment can be made in cash or by credit card on the day of departure.

We offer wellness experiences in the Aranybánya Holiday Park, which are essential for family relaxation or a romantic trip. In the wellness area of the Aranybánya Hotel, our guests can recharge with complete relaxation, while enjoying the soothing panorama of the ever-changing garden and the mountain rising above it. We offer an adventure pool and a children’s paddling pool for water adventures, and a hot tub and sauna for relaxation.
Our adventure park built around the boating lake, which offers meaningful relaxation and exciting challenges for groups and families. Children can try on the 10-element obstacle course of our children’s adventure park from the age of 4. Overcoming obstacles gives children a great experience of success, which is a completely safe adventure while using protective equipment. Our adventure park awaits enterprising visitors from spring to autumn.
In the restaurant of the Aranybánya Holiday Park we are waiting for our guests with delicious food and hearty dishes.
